Devon's bowls heritage goes back centuries, after all, Francis Drake wasn't playing polo when the Spanish Armada was sighted was he?! Bowling history in Exmouth does not go back that far but a bowls club was opened in Phear Park in 1911 and is the oldest club in Exmouth.
Phear Park Bowling Club is one of a dozen bowling clubs either in, or within a 45 minute drive of Exmouth. An ideal centre for a bowling tour over a weekend or longer.
